Chelsea skipper John Terry a doubt for PSG game

Chelsea captain John Terry is a fitness doubt for this week’s Champions League last-16 second leg against Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge.
The 35-year-old suffered a hamstring injury in the win over Newcastle United last month. He subsequently missed the first leg against PSG, the FA Cup win over Manchester City and the Premier League wins over Southampton and Norwich City.

Speaking at his press conference this afternoon, Blues boss Guus Hiddink admitted that Terry was unlikely to be fit enough even for a place on the bench against Stoke City tomorrow.
He said his prospects of appearing in the game against French champions PSG would depend upon how well the long-serving skipper coped with training next week ahead of Wednesday’s game.
Chelsea trail 2-1 from the first leg at Parc des Princes, but will hope that John Obi Mikel’s away goal proves to be significant by the end of the tie.
