
Mauricio Pochettino says there is a chance Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele could feature against Arsenal
Mauricio Pochettino has handed Tottenham Hotspur an injury boost after he revealed Mousa Dembele could face Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.
The Belgium international has been sidelined since he picked up a groin injury during Tottenham’s 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the FA Cup fifth round.
Dembele has missed Tottenham’s games against Fiorentina,Swansea City and West Ham due to the groin problem.
However, Spurs manager Pochettino announced that Dembele has a fighting chance of being involved against their title rivals in Saturday’s north London derby at White Hart Lane.
“He has a chance,” Pochettino told his pre-match media conference.
“We will assess him tomorrow after the last training session.”
Dembele has played a key role in Tottenham’s Premier League title push this season.
The 28-year-old has scored three goals in 22 Premier League games for the north London outfit.
