Tottenham’s Dele Alli: Mousa Dembele is the one player you want on your side in training

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has taken part in a Q&A and answered everything from the one player he wants to have on his team in training to the worst dancer at the club.

Alli joined the Lilywhites in the summer of 2015 from MK Dons, after spending the rest of the 2014/15 campaign at his former club.
The 19-year-old has come on leaps and bounds since moving to White Hart Lane and has been a regular under Mauricio Pochettino.

The England international, who is expected to be in The Three Lions Squad for the upcoming friendlies, was asked a series of questions and one man in particular cropped up in numerous responses: Eric Dier.
Alli and Dier’s bromance has been evident in recent months and the former confirmed that Dier is indeed his best friend, as well as the worst dancer in the group.
Meanwhile, Alli was also asked on the one played he loves to have on his team during training matches, to which he replied: “Mousa Dembele. You just can’t tackle him.”

Alli was also asked who the loudest was in the dressing room and Dembele was there again but, this time, the 28-year-old and his fellow ‘Belgian boys’ were the ones causing the most noise according to Alli.

Alli also recalled the funniest moment he has seen encountered during his time at the club, which involved Erik Lamela and Nabil Bentaleb.
“Coco (Erik Lamela) and Nabil [Bentaleb]. Recently they started doing two-touch and it’s the first to 10 points,” he explained.

“You have to flick it up and take two touches and kick it over to the other player. You have to keep it up as well and if it drops at the other player then you get the point. Lamela said he could beat Nabil 10 days straight and it got really heated. The third day they had to swapping refs – each player was reffing – and it just got really dramatic.”

Alli also admitted that he could see young Harry Winks and Luke McGee becoming managers in the future, with the former extremely knowledgeable of the game.
