Ranieri: I'm not a magician, just a hard worker

The Leicester City manager admits he has not always been a favorite of the press throughout his career but is glad to be attracting some positive attention this season.

Claudio Ranieri is pleased to see his reputation has been boosted across the world by Leicester City's exploits this season, but pointed out that he has often been treated poorly by the media.

The Foxes maintained their seven point lead at the top of the Premier League with a 2-0 win over Sunderland last week as they edge ever closer to the title, prompting La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport to dedicate their front pages to Ranieri and his side.
Guiding his team to unexpected glory this term would be the first major prize of Ranieri's coaching career, despite the 64-year-old having had spells in charge of several teams, including Chelsea, Valencia, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Roma, Inter and Monaco over the last 30 years.
The Italian was heavily criticized after a disastrous reign at the helm of Greece, which ended after an infamous home defeat to Faroe Islands, which saw him plastered across his native country's media in a less positive light.
