Thierry Henry reacts to Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace

Sanchez could be the key to Arsenal ensuring next season is much more successful than 2015-16

Thierry Henry has his say after Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at The Emirates

Thierry Henry criticised Arsenal for failing to put the game to bed after they were pegged back by Crystal Palace and held to a 1-1 draw at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The Gunners went 1-0 up in the 46th minute in north London whenAlexis Sanchez headed in Danny Welbeck’s chip.

However, Arsene Wenger’s men failed to find that killer instinct to put the game to bed and secure the three points and were made to pay in the 81st minute when Yannick Bolasie’s low shot beat Petr Cech at the near post.
The result left Arsenal in fourth place in the Premier League table and 13 points behind leaders Leicester City.
And former Arsenal striker Henry was not at all impressed by Arsenal’s lack of a cutting edge in front of goal.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the final whistle, Henry said: “It wasn’t the best Arsenal performance that I’ve seen in the first half.
“They went 1-0 up on a good goal, a good pass from Welbeck and a good finish from Sanchez. But they didn’t capitalise on being 1-0 up.
“I personally thought Petr Cech could and should have done better on the goal.”
Arsenal’s next game is a home clash against West Bromwich Albion on Thursday night.
