Arsenal have been told to increase their bid for Borussia Monchengladbach captain Granit Xhaka.
Reports last week claimed the Gunners were close to sealing a deal for the 23-year-old Swiss star after submitting an offer of over £30million.
But, according to Bild, Arsenal have actually made a bid of just £19m for the midfielder, who is expected to be on the move this summer.
That amount is a good £10m below what Borussia Monchengladbach are hoping for and they have told thePremier League side to fork over more cash.
All parties, including Xhaka, are hopeful a deal can be sorted before Euro 2016 to avoid any complications arising.
