It appears there has been a breakthrough in negotiations between Arsenal and the 23-year-old's club, Borussia Monchengladbach.

And there were a lot of excited tweets when it was being reported Xhaka was heading to London for a medical ahead of a transfer believed to be around £30m before he joins up with his Switzerland team-mates ahead of Euro 2016.
