Arsenal are looking to tie down Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere, Alex
Oxlade-Chamberlain and Santi Cazorla with new deals at the end of the season,
according to reports.
This may come as a surprise to many Gooners, especially considering the lack of playing
time Wilshere and Cazorla have managed this season as a result of serious injuries.
The Times say the Gunners will have a budget of £75million in the summer transfer window
but the priority will be securing new contracts for the aforementioned five first-team players.
It’s understood midfielders Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky are all
resigned to leaving after not being handed new deals at the Emirates.
The north London outfit are also expected to listen to offers for full-backs Kieran Gibbs and
Mathieu Debuchy.
