Michael Owen trolls Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger on Twitter regarding LMA Manager of the Year odds

Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has something of a strained relationship with Arsenal fans. Not only did he score those two late goals to deny Arsenal the FA Cup in the 2000-01 campaign but as a pundit he has been consistently critical of the club for underachieving in the Premier League.

Today he was at it again, with the Arsenal manager the target of his online dig.
The former England striker was tweeting about the LMA Manager of the Year awards and the betting odds for the competition – which had Arsene Wenger at third favourite on 14/1.
Owen suggested that should be 140/1
Of course this is not really a dig at Arsenal, just a realistic representation of the likeliness of Wenger picking up the award.
Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri is the overwhelming favourite with Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino rightly the second in line – as the two unexpected title rivals battle it out.
Arsenal meanwhile would need to pull off a fantastic run of results if they were to still win the Premier League.
Maybe then Wenger’s odds could be slashed in the running for best manager.
Can Wenger still take Arsenal to the title?
