In-form serie A star reveals hes held transfer talks with liverpool boss jurgen klopp



According to reports from The Metro, Liverpool target Piotr Zielinski has revealed he’s held transfer talks with Anfield gaffer Jurgen Klopp.
The Udinese youngster has firmly impressed on loan at Empoli this season, contributing four goals and four assists from central midfield to aid his club’s rise to a respectable twelfth in the Serie A table.

The in-form 21-year-old has also averaged 2.2 tackles, 1.5 interceptions, 1.5 created chances, 1.9 shots and 2.5 successful dribbles per match from his 30 league outings – whilst recording a pass completion rate of 81%.
Liverpool have been linked with the Poland international frequently since Jurgen Klopp took the managerial reigns from Brendan Rodgers in October.
And Zielinski has surprisingly revealed that the rumours claiming he could complete a summer transfer to Anfield do carry an element of truth – even admitting to holding talks with the Anfield boss.
As quoted by The Metro, the 13-cap international recently told Polish news outlet Sportowe Fakty; “There is a lot of truth in rumours about Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp is interested in me, we had some talks.
“I’m not thinking too much about it right now though, I’ve still got few games to play for Empoli and after that there is still Euro 2016 in France.”
